Attorney Morrison and Attorney Diaz scored a huge victory by securing a downward departure and variance in two federal cases. Due to the efforts of Diaz & Wright, our clients received probation instead of prison.  Only 4% of federal criminal defendants receive a downward departure because of the diligent pre-trial work, coordination of services, and written briefs.  Most downward departures are given because the person is working with the federal government.  In both of our cases, the downward departure was due to the lawyers ability to investigate and negotiate.
