Attorney & Mediator
Jessica “Jess” Hart is a small town Texas girl to her core. She grew up outside of San Antonio, moved to College Station to attend college, then moved to Fort Worth for law school. However, she was eager to move back to rural Texas to begin practicing law.
Jess earned her bachelor of science in Agricultural Business from Texas A&M in 2018 and her Juris Doctorate from Texas A&M School of Law with concentrations in water law and environmental law in 2021. She initially came to Diaz & Wright as a law student in the rural intern program in the summer of 2019. She rejoined us full time in August of 2021 and was licensed to practice October of 2021.
Jess practices estate planning, probate, guardianship, real estate, and property related civil litigation as well as domestic relations. In addition to her work as an attorney, she is also a licensed mediator and serves as associate judge in the City of Rosebud Municipal Court of Record, City of Holland Municipal Court of Record, and City of Little River Academy Municipal Court.
Jess is also our resident horse girl and she lives on a farm. In her free time, Jess rides horses and assists running horse shows at a local farm. She is very involved in her church and also enjoys being an aunt or any excuse to love on all her church kiddos, nieces, and nephews.
